CANT' STOP, WON'T STOP...

What a bummed moment you can have when you have been planning for several weeks go to a show with some bands that you love to see at live, but for some reasons you skipped the time of buying tickets in advance and then you realized just one day before of the show that it is totally sold out.
Bummed without doubt, mainly if you have been several days not in good mood for personal reasons.
So you try some ways to find out how to get tickets, ask for help and then a friend help you out doing his possible (If you are reading this, Scott, one more time: THANKS A LOT KID!).

The show was an indoor fest and it was such an great injection of "vitamin HC" (as sometimes i call it). Meeting people, some buddies from another german cities, as well as meeting some new ones. Shooting photos as well as stagediving and singingalong, ALL THAT I NEED for making the blues away! Despite that during TERROR's set, I had a bad moment while I was stagediving, there was an asshole who grabbed my vagina with very bad intention, those bigots who do that kind of things makes me sick, taking chance while girls are into the pit for their fucking morbid/chauvanist things, that bullshit do not belong to the hc-punk scene!

Btw, I have another blog called YOUR PARENTS HC! and at this fest I had the chance to conduct a brief video interview with Lou Koller and Armand Majidi, we had a cool talk about how they deal with being in a hc-punk band their parenting. So check out that blog on next days!

TRUE SPIRIT OF EUROPEAN HC.

5 hc bands: NO TURNING BACK (NETHERLANDS), STRENGTH APPROACH (ITALY), RISK IT! (GERMANY), WORLD EATER (GERMANY), REDEMPTION DENIED (BELGIUM & NETHERLANDS) got together for sharing the stage in one single tour which was hitting around 12 cities in different points of Europe.

I got the chance to be at the show in Schweinfurt (Germany), it was 2 hours on the road, but it was worth. I had a good time with my buddies with who were driving, listening good hip-hop and some stuff else. Then the show was cool, every band played a good set, though the only thing that I didn't like at all was that with STRENGHT APPROACH the crowd was cold and standing-still with their arms crossed, if you are gonna stay like statues and the people of the band are asking to come closer and so, show some respect and do it! give two single steps and watch the band closer.  Well, at least there were some few guys who moved their asses and shown what is the real deal... THAT'S THE TRUE SPIRIT!

Saturday night

Last saturday 28 april, I took a train and travel 4 hours from Nuremberg to Leipzig for a show at CONNEISLAND with H2O, STRIFE together with the german bands FINAL PRAYER & RISK IT.
It was a nice time meeting with a good friend and her family, then hanging out with also another girl friend and then all together at the show. Meeting new people and saying hi to some who I already know.
At this show I was shooting with a new body camera that I have got few weeks ago, it was somekinda hard to deal with it, meanly cause after 7 years with my beloved 400D now getting familiar with my new friend was some kinda hard work.

Risk it! (from Dresden) and Final Prayer (from Berlin) gave good shows both, intense sets and good feedback from the crowd.I was looking forward to see STRIFE, due that I missed their set at SUCK&SUMMER FEST 2011. They gave a good show, and I was glad they played most of my favourite songs. H2O set was intense, and so crowded, people singingalong and stagediving all the time.

here some few photos, for complete album go to the flickr page:

rocking one the holidays.

Last easter holidays I was in Barcelona visiting my mom and meeting my good friends. I was such a nice time and the weather also, though a couple days windy and cloudy, but so much better and warm than the dark and cold days in Germany.

There were two shows on same dates I was staying there, on 27th March SECTARIAN VIOLENCE with a local band, but sadly I arrived late to the show and it was already finished. Anyway, I got the chance to buy the new record of the band, check it out, it is a blast!

Some few days later, I went to another show with a couple spanish bands, DISPARO from Valencia, playing a good 80's hc-punk and INSTINTO d-beat hc in the vein of WOLFBRIGADE or TRAGEDY. Here also I missed one band, in this case it was INSTINTO, which I was looking forward to see at live. Then DISPARO played such a nice and energetic set, with people dancing and singingalong all the time, to finish it  covering NEVER SURRENDER of BLITZ. It is the second time I see this band at live and I've liked their sound even more.

Well, this time the photos are not shot with my beloved reflex digital canon 400D. They are taken with a canon powershot A2200, so I was back to basics: compact camera.

Wrong way, no way!

RVIVR is one band that has became in one of my favourite from this pop punk style, though I prefer called melodic punk rock. I was looking forward to see this band at live, then 2 weeks ago I saw that they are doing a spring tour in Europe. I checked out the dates and then showed: "19 march @ JUNGENDHAUS, Erlangen", a big smile on my face.

The show' bill was 4 bands but I missed the first one (yep, lately i miss always the first bands, that's the thing to deal with sometimes  when you are a mom). It was nice to see that this show was with all bands with some girls rocking on, which I really appreciate.

BOYSETSFIRE benefit shows

Boysetsfire played 2 benefit shows last weekend in Frauenau (South-east of Bayern-Germany) for supporting the Jugendcafe Zwiesel which will be closed due that the owners of the building want to sell it, and the intention of those two days shows were for collecting enough money for buying the place and that way don't lose a venue where most of punk, rock, hc shows and more activities that are used done there.

my friend Nina told me about going with her to that show, she is a big fan of BSF, and as I had never before the chance to see 'em (well, one time they played in 2004 at Ateneu de Vallcarca, which was a well known social center of Barcelona, but unfortunately I missed that show) so i said, ok let's go!

It was such a good show, such a intense and energetic. See the people singingalong nearly with every song, and I was stocked cause I was in the middle of the crowd shooting photos and without the worry of getting harmed.

This is how it was.

Back from some few days in Hamburg visiting a couple of my cousins who live there, I got the chance to go to the show of EXPIRE & ROTTING OUT at a club called HAFENKLANG.
As support band was BENEATH THE WHEEL, but unfortunately due my "tardiness" I missed their set.
Both bands, R.O & EXPIRE, gave a good set and people were supporting all the time, though the crowd went more nuts with EXPIRE.
From here says thanks to the guys of R.O. (Wallyedge and Benji) for their copperation with my photo project.
