Let's start this year with a new publication. One of pics that I shot of the norwegian band, COMMON CAUSE, will be featuring on next issue of EFFORT fanzine.

2009 is almost done

This year is almost done. 2009 has been, until now, a good year. Nice things have happened: i got married, i went to visit my homeland, Ecuador, after eight years of absence, i've been in places that i've never though i could do it. I've spent so much good time with my relatives and also with my friends.

I'm still in love of hardcore (though i hate some hc kids and those who want make bussines with it...)
I'm still proud to be edge (though there're some asshole who gave a bad reputation with their stupid "ideology")
I'm still having true friends by my side (and those who ran away, thanks for showing your true colours cause i don't need "friends" like you)
I'm still in love of my photo camera... so stay tuned cause 2010 will bring more photos.

CALIFORNIA UBER ALLES

Last december 3rd was performing JELLO BIAFRA AND THE GUANTANAMO SCHOOL OF MEDICINE at ESTRAPERLO CLUB DEL RITME. It was such a good show, the venue was full and sold out tickets. Jello Biafra is a good frontman and speaker.

Yeah, i've been almost two months without say a word in this site. Always busy without enough time posting new pics... just some photos from COCK SPARRER's show last october. I was so good to see an old glory band like 'em.

So, i have more pics to up date but working for a wedding's photo session takes a lot of your free time, so i hope next weeks get some break for updating.

Summer is almost done so here we're, back to reality. After a stressing time with my wedding, to later have 2 weeks spent on the road doing the honey moon around the north of Spain (Basque country, Cantabria and Asturias) and 3 weeks in my homeland, Ecuador, visiting my relatives after 8 years off so I'm BACK ON THE MAP... ready to shoot more thrills (photos).

I'm thinking about create a myspace or facebook profile just about the pics that I shoot... I'm not sure at all to do it or not, what do you think?

Bueno el verano casi que ya se nos esta yendo, asi que volvemos a la rutina de siempre. Después de unos meses de estres con preparativos de mi boda, que luego se compensaron con 15 días de relax en el viaje de novios por el norte (Euskal Herria, Cantabria, Asturies), para rematar 21 días en mi tierra natal, Ecuador, visitando a mi familia después de 8 años de ausencia aqui estoy BACK ON THE MAP, lista y con ganas de hacer fotos!

Tengo en mente crear un perfil en myspace o facebook con todas las fotos que hago, aunque aún no estoy segura del todo, qué me dicen le hago o no?

THERE WILL BE QUIET AFTER THE STORM...

I have been busy and some dark clouds over my head were around these last months, but fortunately everything gets better and cause we pretty know that THERE WILL BE QUIET AFTER THE STORM.

I've been a while without dropping some lines here cause I was a bit fucked up. Now I'm in a good mood: optimistic and happy, mainly cause things that I like are working well.
Since last time I wrote here many things have happened. Now I'm member of the team of one of most known show's photography websites in Europe: FACE THE SHOW.
I'm happy being part of this team. Thanks to Burkhard for counting in me to his project. We are doing what we like: attend hc-punk shows and shooting pics. Please check out the site:

NEW PICS COMING OUT SOON

Yeah, it takes me ages to up date this blog and myphotoalbum site cause always I have a lot of things to do. So I hope to find enough time to up load the new photos that I've shot.

I'm reading again the book, ALL AGES - reflections on straight edge. I think this book has a lot of good shit and memories from the old time hardcore and its roots.

my husband's band, THE DEFENSE has a new 7" out. It's released by CRUCIAL RESPONSE records and several photos (almost all) on the record cover and insert were shot by me.
